Terms and Conditions

1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions govern the use of services provided by WoodenHart Creations SA (Pty) Ltd (“the Company”). By requesting a quotation, placing an order, or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

2. Quotations

2.1 All quotations are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated.

2.2 Quotations are based on the specifications, measurements, and materials agreed upon at the time of quoting.

2.3 Any changes requested after acceptance of the quotation may result in additional charges.

3. Deposits and Payment

3.1 A deposit of [40–60]% may be required before work begins.

3.2 The remaining balance is due upon completion or before delivery/installation unless otherwise agreed.

3.3 Ownership of goods remains with the Company until full payment has been received.

4. Lead Times

4.1 Lead times provided are estimates and may vary depending on material availability, workload, and unforeseen circumstances.

4.2 The Company will make reasonable efforts to meet agreed timelines but cannot guarantee completion dates.

5. Custom Work

5.1 All custom-built items are manufactured according to the agreed specifications and measurements.

5.2 The Customer is responsible for ensuring that all provided measurements and requirements are correct.

6. Changes to Orders

6.1 Any changes to an order after work has begun may result in additional costs and extended lead times.

6.2 Significant changes may require a revised quotation.

7. Delivery and Installation

7.1 Delivery and installation services may be offered at an additional cost unless otherwise included in the quotation.

7.2 The Customer must ensure that the site is accessible and ready for installation at the agreed time.

8. Repairs and Maintenance

8.1 Repair work is subject to assessment and quotation before commencement.

8.2 The Company is not responsible for hidden structural issues or damage discovered during repair work.

9. Warranty

9.1 The Company warrants workmanship for a period of [6–12 months] from the date of installation or delivery.

9.2 This warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, normal wear and tear, water damage, or improper maintenance.

10. Cancellations

10.1 Orders may be cancelled before work begins, subject to administrative costs.

10.2 Deposits may be non-refundable once materials have been purchased or work has commenced.

11. Limitation of Liability

11.1 The Company shall not be liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from the use of its products or services.

11.2 The Company’s liability shall not exceed the value of the invoice for the specific project.

12. Intellectual Property

Designs, drawings, and plans created by the Company remain the intellectual property of the Company unless otherwise agreed.

13. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
